Is a slab leak or burst pipe covered? +
Sudden water damage is usually covered. Many policies also pay to open walls or the slab to reach the leak while excluding the pipe itself. Long-term seepage is often excluded, which is why how the loss is described matters.
Who pays for a hotel or rental while my home is repaired? +
If your home is uninhabitable, most homeowners policies include Additional Living Expense coverage. It should cover housing comparable to your home, not just the cheapest room available. That includes families with children and, where needed, arrangements for pets.
Is mold covered? +
Mold resulting from a covered water loss is often covered, but many policies cap it with a low sublimit. Fast documentation and drying matter.
The insurer will only replace part of my flooring or cabinets. Is that right? +
Not always. When a partial repair leaves a visible mismatch, the policy may owe more. I check the policy wording and argue for a proper match.
What do you charge? +
My public adjusting fee is a percentage of what I recover for you: typically 15–25% on residential claims and 10–15% on commercial claims. There is no upfront cost, and if nothing is recovered you owe nothing. The first consultation is always free.
Where do you work? +
In person throughout Los Angeles County, the San Gabriel and San Fernando valleys, Orange County, the Inland Empire, Las Vegas, and Henderson.
