Do I have to give a recorded statement? +
Your policy requires you to cooperate with the insurer’s investigation, and refusing outright can create problems. But you can usually reschedule to a time when you are prepared, ask what topics will be covered, and request a copy of the recording afterward.
Can someone be on the call with me? +
Yes. If you hire me as your public adjuster, I can join the call. If you use the consulting service instead, we prepare together beforehand.
How quickly can we prepare? +
Statements are often scheduled within days. I can usually hold a prep session within 24 to 48 hours of your request.
What if I already gave a statement? +
Send me what you remember and the recording or transcript if you have one. Mistakes can often be clarified in writing before they hurt the claim.
Is this legal advice? +
No. I am a licensed public adjuster, not an attorney. If the insurer requests an Examination Under Oath or raises fraud, hire an attorney.
Can you help if my claim is outside California or Nevada? +
Advising on a claim requires a public adjuster license in most states, so this service is for California and Nevada claims only.
