Can you help with my Eaton Fire or Palisades Fire insurance claim? +
Yes. The 2025 LA wildfires created an enormous number of complex claims — many of which are still delayed or disputed. I specialize in wildfire and smoke damage claims, including FAIR Plan policies. Whether your claim is newly filed, in dispute, or was previously closed at a low number, I can review it at no charge and advise on your options. Call 424-284-8725 for immediate guidance.
What areas of Southern California do you serve? +
I am based in West Covina and serve all of Southern California in-person: Los Angeles City and County, the San Gabriel Valley (West Covina, Pasadena, Altadena, Alhambra, El Monte, Covina, Pomona), the San Fernando Valley (Burbank, Glendale, Van Nuys, Studio City, Woodland Hills), Orange County (Anaheim, Irvine, Santa Ana, Fullerton, Huntington Beach), the Inland Empire (Riverside, San Bernardino, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana), and the South Bay and Long Beach. Claim consulting is available remotely throughout California, and risk assessments nationwide.
How much does a public adjuster cost in California? +
My California public adjusting fee is contingency-based — 15–25% of the settlement I recover for residential claims and 10–15% for commercial claims. There is no upfront cost and no fee if I don't recover money for you. The initial consultation is always free. California does not cap public adjuster fees (they must simply be reasonable and disclosed in a written contract).
What is a FAIR Plan claim and can you help with it? +
The California FAIR Plan is the state's insurer of last resort — many SoCal homeowners, especially in high fire-risk areas like Pacific Palisades, Malibu, and Altadena, were insured through the FAIR Plan before the 2025 fires. FAIR Plan policies have specific coverage structures and limitations. I review FAIR Plan policies alongside any Difference in Conditions (DIC) policy you carry, so every available dollar is claimed under both.
My insurance claim was denied — can you still help? +
Yes. A denial from a California insurer is rarely the final word. Many denials are successfully challenged with proper documentation, policy analysis, and advocacy. I offer a free claim review to assess whether and how a denial can be overturned. I can also advise on California's formal appraisal process for disputed claims and your rights under the California Insurance Code.
Do you handle commercial property claims in LA? +
Yes. I handle commercial property claims of all sizes — retail, office, industrial, multi-family, and hotel/hospitality — throughout Southern California. My Travelers National Property experience includes complex shared and layered programs for large commercial accounts, and my FM Global background covers industrial and manufacturing risk. Commercial public adjusting fee is 10–15% of settlement.
What is the difference between Public Adjusting and Insurance Claim Consulting? +
Public Adjusting is full representation — I take over your claim completely, handling all carrier communications and negotiations. It's contingency-based with no upfront cost. Insurance Claim Consulting is strategic advisory — you manage your claim but I coach you on recorded statements, coverage analysis, negotiation strategy, and policy interpretation. Consulting starts at $500 (flat fee) and is ideal for those who want insider guidance without full representation.
Do you need to come to my property in person? +
For public adjusting, in-person property inspection is standard and important — especially for complex claims where hidden damage documentation is critical. I am available throughout Southern California for property visits. For Insurance Claim Consulting, policy reviews, and risk assessments, I can often work effectively via remote consultation, document review, and digital photos — so claim consulting is available anywhere in California, and policy reviews and risk assessments nationwide.
